The Verba Family are founders of The Muse of Life Society, Inc. - a non profit organization and of the Nightingale Studios - a for profit music school in Rochester, NY where they teach.   Of the three internationally renowned musicians, two are soloists, educators and members of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. A violinist and a violist.  The third is a concert pianist, composer, educator and a published writer.   He also produces and hosts a radio program on WRUR 88.5 FM in Rochester, NY which airs every Saturday from 10AM to 12PM. Together, the Verba family forms an acclaimed trio.

Following in the glorious tradition of J. S. Bach's family (he was the seventh generation musician), the Verba family has been synonymous with music and the arts for many generations.

 

 

 

Proud to hold some of the finest traditions in composition and performance from such great musicians as:  Dmitry Shostakovich, Walter Piston, Paul Hindemith, Aaron Copland, David Oistrakh, Josef Hofmann, Edwin Fisher, Ferrucio Busoni, Cecile Ganhart Vladimir Ashkenazy, Abbey Simon, Bella Davidovich and Claudette Sorel among others, the Verba Family has evolved their own traditions of passion and good taste over generations of refined musicianship. The Verba Family's musical roots go all the way back to Franz Liszt, Ludwig van Beethoven and Leapold Auer.

 

With over 100 years of combined experience, this family of three musicians continues to impart traditions of eternal truths to their students.  Nightingale Studios attracts students from around the world through Lectures, Seminars, and Performances that have spanned four continents.
